Campsite Highline Lake State Park

The most sought after campsite in the United States!

  • Festival Style Camping: The event uses all available camping and will overflow into the grass and group camping area. The Park Ranger will assign all camping spots. You will be placed with other families as per your request. (this weekend will have a different layout than you may be used to. Please be flexible, the camping is fantastic no matter what!)

  • Day Use Fee: is included in the entry fee for team members only. Spectators, support and family members will be charged $10/car to enter the park. Unless you have a Colorado State Parks Pass. Did you know there are at over 40 State Parks in our beautiful state?

  • Vehicles need to show the pass allowing them into the campground. Vehicles will not be allowed except to unload. Please be sure to follow directions of the staff in regard to the grass.

  • Be courteous to Park Staff. They have been extremely helpful so far to make this event the best it can be. They do not have the manpower to watch vehicles coming in and out of the campground and this rule is in effect to protect you and your property!

  • Know Your Team Name: The entrance staff will find you by Team Name when assigning campsites. Please have this information ready.

  • Camping before and after the event must be made through Park Manager Alan Martinez at alanc.martinez@state.co.us

  • Campers over 29′: ALL RV’s, campers, and cars will be directed to the paved lot. Only cars & small SUV’s will be allowed in the campground due to space limitations.

  • Those in paved parking are no more than 100 yards from the camping area and the lake and swim beach at the farthest point. If a small camper is in the campground no other vehicle will be allowed for the team. All other teams will be allowed 1 vehicle per team in the campground and any other vehicles will be parked in the overflow area.

  • DOGS – Need to be leashed at all times.

  • FIREWOOD -is available for purchase at the park.

  • WEATHER – The average high during this timeframe is upper 70’s-low 80’s. It will get chilly at night, especially around the lake with an average of lower 50’s-60’s.
